Neat Places in Columbus

Postby Doxiemom » Tue Feb 13, 2018 11:04 am

I need your help finding some interesting places in Columbus! This August there will be a major stamp show in Columbus. My stamp group is also meeting at that show. I am in charge of the Friday night dinner/mixer and a day long tour for Monday. If any one knows of a neat, inexpensive, interesting restaurant or space to hold the dinner for about 60 people. Also for Monday, any special museums, shops, etc to visit. I was thinking of Franklin park and the Chihuly art. And maybe walk around German Village. Can't do the Zoo/Aquarium, too much walking for many in the group. I would appreciate ANY suggestions. Thank you.

Franklin Park would be a great place to go to. I was going to suggest the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium but you've already marked that off your list. How about a Triple A baseball game? Not sure what the schedule is just yet. COSI, German Village, Columbus Museum of Art all come to mind.
